A little more about us
The Little Thatched Company produces garden buildings of distinction. The company was founded with the aim of producing opulent garden buildings that not only offer practical solutions, but are aesthetically pleasing to their surroundings.
The Little Thatched Company, is not just another company selling garden buildings, we design and manufacture hand crafted buildings using the finest quality materials. Our craftsmen, not only have the extensive knowledge, and skill set to produce these fine buildings, but also share a passion for traditional techniques and architecture.
Our ranges include both traditional and contemporary design, which will enhance any home and garden. Each of our buildings are hand made by our experienced, qualified craftsmen and are built to last using the finest quality materials.
We offer a range of services, from a tried and tested “Off The Shelf” design, to a complete bespoke design solution. We have a highly skilled design team, including an architect who’s specialism includes listed buildings and conservation.
Helping you plan
A number of our employees own Listed Buildings, some dating back as early as the 15th century. So we understand first-hand many of the issues and requirements that some of our clients have. We appreciate that as the owner of a unique home, you often have to sacrifice practicality for beauty. So as a team we have worked hard, to produce an Oak Framed garden building that offers the beauty and opulence, to sit alongside a unique home. And offers all the internal practical space, that is required for modern day living.
We understand, that if you are one of the 374,081 lucky owners of a listed building in England, or live within a conservation area, you will likely require listed building, or planning consent. We work with you and your local authority to achieve this.
Personalise your build
Using our online upgrade and customise calculator, you can design your building based on your own preferences, including a traditional thatched roof, or hand made clay tiles.
With a range of roofing materials to choose from, and swatches from Fired Earth paint collections you can make your oak framed garden building every bit as unique as you are! When you make a purchase from The Little Thatched Company you not only gain a beautiful garden building but a family heirloom to be admired for generations.
Committed to quality and the environment
We believe that we produce the finest quality products, and offer outstanding service. This philosophy is rewarded by the excellent testimonials and feedback we receive from existing customers.
Our wood comes from sustainable sources, and is FSC registered, our tiles contain natural and recycled materials and our thatched roofs are carbon neutral, helping to preserve the environment.
Our employees all share the same passion for exceptional quality and design, and world class service. If you would like any further information or would like to discuss your requirements please get in touch we would love to hear from you.
